Welcome, and thank you for visiting my online teaching portfolio. I am a contemporary French and Francophone cinema specialist, with interests that also branch into Francophone culture, and contemporary French society. I defended my Ph.D. dissertation at the University of Alberta (Edmonton, Canada) in 2010.
I am also deeply invested in the development of teaching materials, more particularly in the creation of web-based educational tools.
This online portfolio is intended to present my teaching practice; it includes all the courses I have taught since my graduate studies, sample activities and assignments, students' and departmental evaluations, my statement of teaching philosophy and my C.V.
Another field of interest is curriculum development and, more particularly, the use of digital tools in the language class. The different presentations I attended on the topic and my own research have helped design courses where digital tools are used in order to increase students' motivation as well as their proficiency. By clicking here, you will be able to access the complete list of the courses I have been teaching so far. You will also be able to access the online course companions I have created for some of my classes.
